I will never forget the day we lost you,
I will always wonder whether we would have decorated with pink or blue.
The moment we saw that second pink line,
Was a feeling so joyous,
I felt like I was on cloud nine.
No more than the size of a bean,
You were small and lifeless on the screen.
The doctor’s words were like a knife to my heart,
Your father and I both fell apart.
Our hearts were shattered into a million little pieces,
And our desire to hold you only increases.
We know we will see you again one day,
In Heaven is where you and your brother or sister play.
We only wish we could have seen the two of you grow,
Through the storm, we pray for another rainbow.
We will never forget the day we lost you,
Know that we will forever love you.

Angela I had no idea, I’m so so sorry. I just miscarried for the first time, about 3 weeks ago. These words struck the very core of my heart. What I wouldn’t give if we could just hold our babies. 💔

Oh Rebekah…I am so sorry to hear that you have experienced this pain as well! And I feel the exact same way. I’ve had two miscarriages since January, and while I’m doing my best to move forward, it still hurts so much. I will be praying for God to provide you peace and comfort, and if you ever need someone to talk to who understands, I am here! Looking forward to the day we will get to see our babies in Heaven!❤️
